trannie job questions

I am getting ready to pull the transmission for a exedy flywheel and i was wondering how much of a huge pain it is? I was just wondering how much time and help id need Thanks!

If you have done a FWD before it wont be bad... Takes 4-6 hours...

Ok yeah ive done several hondas put it just seems like they just fall out lol Thanks no clutch bro i didnt have the money and mine still seems good i knew id here that haha

I believe you have to drop the subframe or at least loosen part of it to manuver the tranny out.

Yeah i just bought a hanes manual for this job and future things and it says you have to drop the subframe your correct.

Thought so...there's some good info on here and on j-body.org that shows what all needs taken off to get to the trans and get it out.

ok so subframe, bottom and top trannie mounts, and just rip her out lol do you gus think that was a dumb idea not to do a clutch now cause i have 26thousand on it but it seems pretty good still idk

I believe you need to watch the radiator too as it will fall when the subrame is dropped. Just zip tie it up top.

Are you refering to the flywheel?

I hope you dont plan on putting a used clutch/disc on a new flywheel....

You need to do a clutch also, it is like putting new rotors on your car, with used brake pads...

ok just im gonna go with the exedy stage 2 Cerametallic Clutch have you heard anything about those? wether reliability is good and how the hook compared to stock.
