tranny problems.. need some help

tranny problems.. need some help

Just had a stage 2 clutch an a racing flywheel put on last week and now I have a hard time getting my car into first an sec gear n it did it b4 I got work done but only for first I thought it may be the link es to the shifter but it only dose it when the cars on.. Help

Take it back to the shop and have them install everything right.

Like I said it did it a Lil bit b4 I had the clutch n flywheel put on

But you said it did it before only in 1st, so now it's worse.

You can adjust shifter cables to see if it gets better but it shouldn't matter if the engine is running or not.

Sounds like your clutch isn't releasing fully, maybe it needs to be bled more or it needs a new master cyl.

Well I think it is the cables cuz its on n off with going gears fine n having a hard time but its a brand new clutch cuz i know it cant be the trans going bad cuz it would do it on n off but I'm having it looked at tmrw

Well I got a stage 2 exedy clutch n an exedy flywheel on it n I hope the its not messed up its only a week old

Well you were right clutch is not disengaging car won't go in to gear at all now so I'm going up to that shop n gonna make them fix it
