somtimes paying for a name isnt nessicarry, worst case, buy a new muffler..and thats still...like $300 total max

 

Hopefully that pic is a generic system. I don't see how that system could be installed on a Cobalt (the bends are all wrong). But it's probably just representative of the design, not the actual thing.

Adam's right - all exhausts are interchangable for the Cobalts. The stock 2.0 and 2.4 are the same. The stock 2.2 is smaller diameter piping from the factory. However, they'll all bolt on in the same places.

I think exhausts are overpriced for what they are, especially if someone could build them in a country with low labor rates (like China). It would be interesting for someone on the board to try this one and report on it. I went through 4 exhaust configurations (counting the stock system) before settling on the GMPP Touring that's on mine now. I love it, but it wasn't cheap. Then again, I'm happy to support American jobs, so I guess it's worth the $580 I have in it.

 

did you order it or what. I am tonight after i get back from work. I have a 2.0 S/c so i guess ill b the one to test it if no one else has it. I heard it on a Scion TC n thought it has a nice tone. This exhaust looks like a copy of the megan racing exhaust i had on my 05 cobalt ss/sc.

 

i think almost all exhausts look the same as the rest
