TVS Sport
LOL @ dropping the motor to remove anything. You can do pistons/rods with the block in the car and it's faster/easier that way.
Any pulley change, crank, accessory, whatever, should not take more than an hour. These cars aren't that bad to work on.

So in order for him to change the pulley, the shop has to take the blower off, then drop the motor. Retrieve magical screws in the block??? What? This really doesn't make sense to me, I thought he snapped the screws that hold the pulley on.
sense is not to be found here
when it comes to ross....you wont find anything that relates to sense, education, intelligence, skills, when it comes to cars or anything for that matter. I'm surprised he knows how to start the car.
Anyways, i would love to see someone actualy TVS their 2.4 and not just do a hack job. I want to see a full 100% job done and see how it will compaire to a LSJ.

sure thing...lol. Speaking of the Z, im still waiting for ross to accept my challenge. I asked him if he wanted to race his 300hp, low 12s cobalt against my car without my nitrous. Just intakes. Also said we will race for slips and im 100% serious too. Me and the gf r coming to florida when i get my summer leave so we could do it then.
gotta change the hub too and like i said before the bolts broke off into the damn thing. its a auto with a tvs that shouldnt be there, theres no ******* room they had to cut part of the body out to fit the pulley! you guys talk like you got a shop outback and you own one!

I like how your shop has an album for all their projects, except for your car. A tvs on a 2.4 is worthy of it's own thread, photo album, possibly even a magazine article, but it doesn't reach that potential because of how incompetent and ignorant the owner is.
an engine is a engine, doesnt matter what type. I did all the work on my LSJ with a TVS and i can tell you right now, you do not have to drop the engine to swap a pulley on the blower, nor the crank pulley. Hell you dont even have to take the blower out to swap the pulley on it, just loosen off the tentionor, remove belt, remove the bolts and swap pulley. If bolts are broken inside the hub, then yes, taking the blower off is required. But you clearly know nothing about your car if you think u have to drop the engine.
Hell i dont even have to drop my engine to install a twin turbo or supercharger kit. Ross do yourself a favour, shut up, stop making stupid comments, get a hair cut and leave moding/building cars to people that know what to do.
Once again, does this look like u need to drop the engine to take off a pulley, i know its not the same engine which actualy makes it easier for you, 2.4 has abit more room to work with...
Went from this....

to this...

And im assuming ross u r talking about snapping one of the bolts here...
