TWM Shifter

i am really looking into getting the short shifter for my 2.4. i checked the twm site and read the instructions they have for it and it seems like a real pita. has anyone had any experience with installing these? how are the end results?

I have the shifter and a couple other guys have it too. Its all pretty straight forward with the install. I guess the only tricky part would be the cutting youd have to do on your stock part (not sure the proper name for what to cut but I know by looking at it ). You need to cut some extra space to make room for 2nd, 4th, and Reverse gear.

Once installed the shifter is the ****.

I have it, and was actually the first mod I installed. It wasn't too hard, and the only thing that worried me with the install was the dremeling part. Mine turned out perfect, and I love it. Definitely makes your shifting alot more spirited, and I love the satin alumiunum shift knob it comes with the the "TWM" logo etched in the top. Very nice product.

The only problem I had was re attatching the main shift cable...but that was because i was nervous about breaking soemthing...its really not that hard...I say go for it, once you put it in you will get so used to the short throw lol
