Vector ECM Tune..WOW.

Ok. I am a believer. I just installed my new Vector massaged ECM and it really makes a difference. Upper revs pull gloriously hard. Where the engine bogged or ran out of breath has been eliminated. I can feel the timing advance in around town driving which makes the car very quick on the throttle take up. Overall I give this mod an

Now I am looking to find that RSX again.

Let me know how the header works fo ryou. Chris (GTPprix) said www.stainlessworks.net makes a great long tube header and cat for our cars. +8-10 whp and 10+ ftlbs. Vector also has a flash for this set up as well.

I ordered mine from www.scdyne.com from what i hear they make preatty good products and its the only header ive found thats for the 2.4 specific. There credit card system is all screwed up though and wont be fixed for another month so you would have to send them an money order.

You think it did anything to increase power or just better acceleration and such? Shoulda have done a dyno with us that day last month. Could have gotten a before and after.

Wish I had the money ATM for this. Definately let me know if you meet up with that RSX-S again.

Here is a dyno of my before and after ecu tune so yours should be pretty close. Before is with axleback exhaust and Injen CAI.

I want to get my ecm tuned so bad.. i will probably do it locally through websters tune since if i have any issues i can get them taken care of close by.. do you guys think i should tune the header? all i will have is the gmpp ported manifold.. i dont know if that would be enough to warrant a tune for it... i know pacesetter is making a header for us but they said 120 days so yeah.

Wes definietly worth the nickle if you ask me. The car PULLS through the whole rev range. I went driving around like a juevenile looking for trouble tonight. I found only a Celica GTS and Slightly modded GSR who wanted to play. The GTS was dispatched by 3rd gear and the GSR held on through most of 4th but gave up after I had about 1-2 cars by top of 4th.

The throttle response is better, top end is better revs out cleaner and faster, I would say yeah that its making significantly more power. When I pull out onto 30 west from my subdivision, I used to get on it and run out of road before I got to 4th gear and had to brake. I can easily now make it most of the way THROUGH 4th beofre I have to brake. BIG difference. I am even holding on a few more revs before shifting at about 7K in 1st and 2nd and holding third until the shift light flashes for 4th and still making it almost all the way through 4th.

Good job VECTOR. Now where's that Type S.?!?!?..

I never find anyone around here that wants to play. Although there is always too much traffic anyhow. Where is your favorite playground? lol

Thats the best way to describe it. Its not just a certain rpm where the car FEELS faster, you can tell the car IS faster all the way through the rpms.
