Void Warranty /w header DP?

Let's say I want to install the Vibrant header/dp combo on my 2.4, will it void my warranty?

I understand that my exhaust line won't be under warranty for sure, but can the dealership say "you installed an aftermarket header, your warranty is void, no question"

I'm thinking that unless they can prove that my setup damaged my car, they can't say anything right?

Yes, USE the search button. You will see that some dealers don't care and some do. Depends on the dealer and the situation at hand.

if your header cracked or whatever nothin they can do about it, thats it it will void your warranty on the header dp not the whole car, b/c a exhaust wont break a thing

first off, they are going to try and void your warranty till the cows come home, because it costs them money, apparently. but lets just pretend you throw a rod and your engine is caput. they see a header, dp, intake whatever, automatically you were racing it, and if youre younger, that kills your chances all together cuz every kid street races, right?
best bet is if you have warranty, dont mod it, cuz honestly, dealers are gonna screw you in the end. with no vasaline

I by no means was trying to be a dick about using the search button. i was just pointing out that you can use it to find just about anything you need. But as anomalous said, it does work great, you just gotta know how to use it. If it doesn't work for you then searching for the specific topic works well too. Most of the time whatever you need will probably be within the first three pages of a forum.

it does depend on the dealer, as they will reject claims based on abuse as well. i blew the smithereens out of my tranny at the track, and the tow truck driver happened to be cool, and lied about where he picked me up. got the tranny fixed under warranty, even though wehn i walked into the dealer they asked what time i ran that night and gave me one of my time-slips that fell under the seat (i thought i had taken them all out)

who cares if he made a new thread on a repeated topic. he said he searched. and you answered his question thats the point of having a forum like this. and he can just delete it now if he wants. and yes the search tool is not that great.

LOL now thats funny. my warranty is fucked i bet now, they found my tune and said they would have to void it but i asked them if i could keep it if they flashed me back to stock, we'll see later today. I also have an aftermarket 100,000 mile warranty which i dont remember what exactly it does or covers, anyone know anything about these?

Wow never heard of this...
What tune did you have? A canned tune or HP Tuners?

How did they find out about it... I thought they had to look specefically for it in order to find it....
