warranty

I just went to the dealership where i bought my car and asked them what would void my warranty. They told me that nothing will really voi the warranty, unless you have NoS. I asked about a CAI or exhaust and they siad it would be fine but those parts would not be under warranty. Just for people who did know

Yea, your dealer atleast has common sense. It many times depends on what dealer you are dealing with. Some dealers are ******, others are not. The bottom line is what you where told above is true.

If you put an exaust on and your cat goes, chances are it wont be covered.

If you put an exaust on and you blow a head gasket that will be covered.

you will only void the warranty on the part that is modified, not on the whole car.

Suppose to be they have to see or prove the part you installed could have caused the problem, and we all know exaust does not effect a head gasket, tranny, engine, etc.

it all depends on the relationship you hav with the dealer service people...if ure all cool like i am with mine...then you wont hav a prob...but if there dicks then the slightest mod and theyd blame it for whatever went wrong

The burden of proof rest with the dealership. The dealership has to prove that a specific part that you have modified has been the cause of the damage. Otherwise sue their ass for the repair bill!!! You'll win based on federal warranty laws.
