what to do for service on a 2007 with 74k

my G5 is getting close to 74k the car spends most its time on the highway traveling around the country so it does not see to much around town driving. Everything is original on the from everything in the engine compartment to the battery. I did front breaks on it and got new tires thats all i have done to the car. Should i do a coolant flush, fuel filter, change the belt and spark plugs. Also the car is parked from dec to april in a heated garage under a cover so it does sit around a lot to.

Well there is no timing belt so no belts need replacing. Should have done the fuel filter a while ago, so do that. Don't really need the coolant flush until 100k, but definitely:

(fuel filter)
spark plugs
oil
oil filter
air filter
cabin air filter-if you feel adventurous

IDK if I'm forgetting anything but you should definitely seafoam the car, there's a how to on here, it really isn't too bad at all.

I'd flush the brake fluid too. At 5 years / 74,000 miles, I bet the fluid in the calipers is pretty black.
I flushed mine at 40,000 miles, and it was disgusting.

damn forgot to do that, just changed front + rears at 45k...

but yea op, do all the above suggestions. alignments never hurt, and any preventative maitenance that comes to mind, not much out of the norm for ur car

Are you asking about flushing the brake fluid? Basically you bleed the brakes until the fluid that comes out is clean. You just need to be sure that you keep the reservoir topped off to keep air from getting into the brake system.

You really should change the brake fluid? I have never done it in any of my cars. The G5 stopped perfect to any other car i have driven. But if its something that needs to be done ill do it. I might take it to a shop to have that done though.

With one of those tools I showed you and a hose to fit around the brake bleeder fitting it's a super simple job. Get the fluid out of the res, then add your new fluid to the tool/res. Then one by one go around opening the bleeder and pump it through till the new fluid comes out depending on the tool keeping an eye on the fluid res level. Handy to use a different colored fluid by the way.
