I've used Chevron 92 octane since I bought my car over a year ago. Up here in Canada we're paying 1.50/L for regular........that's basically around $6.00/gallon......quit your bitching, lol.

Just put 3/4 of a tank of 91 octane in, $45.00 later. All my car gets is 91 or 94 if I happen to stop at Sunoco, but usually just go to Petro-Canada.

You dont necessarily need premium fuel in vehicles with v-tec.

If the car is designed for 93, it'll get better gas mileage anyway, leading to no higher costs in the long run.

Yeah. Even though you "can" use 87 in a 2.4L you really shouldn't. It adjusts the timing for it yeah, but robs you of more efficient power. And higher octanes have better cleaning properties and less build-up.
