what intake won't throw a cell 2.4

OK. I know this is another thread on intakes, but here is the issue My 2.4 w/auto has been at ------- ------- ------ for R&D on the CAI for the past few days even though the piping is the same as the 2.2 intake that they tried was throwing codes so they were trying different piping and kept throwing codes so they are going to have to redesign in the future also the gains weren't to their specs, in other words wasn't sellable material with their name on it. Is anyone out there running a 2.2 cai on their 2.4 that is throwing codes or not throwing codes what Manufacturer. I'll fill in the blank after a few responses.

I have the Injen, no CELS and only took 20 mins to install.. disconnect neg termanil first and when install is complete start up and let idle for 10 or 15 min.

I installed one on my 2.2 that I had no problem. The company put this on and dyno'd it and drove it I'll find out tomorrow when I go pick it up I work around the automotive and diesel teaching industry. so iI am mechanically inclined. either I go buy one or wait for this to be redesigned I'm waiting for my ecm and tcm from gmpartsdirect so I could send it out for flashing
Merc, why do you say that the 2.0 only throws cels or codes This is a big company that is doing my car

i got the lean code with my injen.. went away after a few hours.. then had traction control issues.. i changed the filter to a AEM dry flow since injen uses oiled filters to be safe.. ive had no problems since.

Injen has been the most popular choice, AEM are good also. We have both brands in stock.

My homemade one has never thrown a light. All you need to be sure of is that the Airflow sensor is sealed up tightly.

neither did i...plus i did the CAI instead of the SRI and it takes longer to install but it gets better flow and colder air. its all preference though. kick ass intake none the less.
