What should I add next?

I recently put intake and exhaust on my 2.4 and I have ordered a DC Sports Strut Bar.

I want some opinions on what I should add next. I plan on going forced induction whenever it becomes available, but I would like to add a few things before then.

Here are some things I have been thinking about.

Engine Dampner
High-Flow Cat
Short Throw Shifter
ECU Tune
Header

Any other ideas would be great. Thanks

If your serious about going turbo i'd say no to Header and ecu tune since those will be useless with a turbo kit on there. I just installed the TWM short shifter and really like it.

First off... convert that SRI to CAI. It's really easy. Don't take the bumper off... take the passenger side headlight and bracket out... you'll be able to get to the location for it easy.

Second... I'd go with a header or the GMPP manifold. Finish off the airflow part of the equation. Then go for more serious stuff.

i'd do the shifter. a GOOD shifter just makes it more fun to drive... and that's kinda the point. performance is relative.

go with a header you can sale it when you get your turbo system, a lightweight crankshaft pulley, engine dampner, big bore throttle body, hi-flow cat, and thats about it I believe.

I installed mine by myself and i was done pretty fast but defintly not less than an hour it would take an normal person if they wanted to make sure they did it right and not break any bolts or anything 2-3 hours.

And yoadrien i am not sure if your looking for bang for buck or if you just want power, i say if you want bang for buck i would get the ecu tune, but if you want power there are an lot of bolt ons availble, header, ecutune, crankshaft pulley, ported manifold and throttle body, and cams once they become availble.

Like everyone else is saying if you plan on going FI (SC or turbo) than that will tell you what mods you should or shouldn't do.

If you are going turbo I wouldn't waste the money on a header, as it will not work with your turbo plans.

If you are waiting for the SC than you can buy a header, and anything else exhaust related, as they will work with a SC install.

but either way the intake you have won't work with either the SC or turbo, without major modification. You'll probably be best off selling it when you go F.I.

I would recommend the short throw and the high flow cat for now though.

Tuning will be more valuable to you once you go F.I. anyways

I really want to go with a supercharger to be honest- just personnal preference.

If I add the header and high-flow cat does anybody have an idea of how much hp this would add?
