While recovering from surgery *part surgery rant part of it a rundown on the cobalt

The dr did very well from what I can tell and the recovery seems to be going well.
The originally did this surgery to remove a hernia but cancer was making it hard to that.
Well I finally got enough time off work and enough money saved to the side to get the surgery done. The paperwork part of it definitely the most difficult. Went through 13 dr's Had it narrowed down to 2 and one of them didnt take my or the case. Kindof a put off but at least I finally had the dr in plcase and was able to set everything up.

So along tomes tuesday supposed to be for the surgery at 8pm, We get there at 8:30 so O go and clock im. Th dr keeps me waiting til 11am then he finally starts preform the surgery.
I wake u around 4:30 in the afternooon. As I wake i wasnt quite sure whuch surgery he performed. He comes in telling me they fully opened my abs, So an incision was made from my collar bone to an inch past my hips. He ended up rebuilding my entire front abs including a 25,000 piece of mesh. So am now going onto my 4th day in the hospital. Ironicly its been a good stay I got a goofy old man as a roomie and aee boith always pranking and messinging with the nurses. (no homo btw) But never thought Id enjoy a hospital stay. Though the Self admin'd morphine and random shots of 5mg Atvan and 5mg Have bee truly helping me stay confortable.

The back story on all of this is years ago i contracted stage 3 cancer to abdominal region. After firing sever dr's I found I like and went with. However his susgestion as for the dr to actual incision and remember I didnt quiet vibe up with. But I let it slide due to him being the 2nd highest in his specialty in the nation. Well after surgery this dr lost his paticence since I keep leaking through my stock (though about a 1quart every 20 min. So I got pissed and so did I. He lays me down on the exame room table gives 3 shots of local anthesia and then preceded to cut 1 dash into my abs 1 inch deep ands about 3 inches long. This outraged and shocked me i didnt even know whar ro do I foced the dr out of the. the nurse pushed him out of the building then the nurses did the best they could to seal up the damage. For almost a year I walked around stuff with enough gauze just so I live my life. As things healed pretty much over the couse of the year I was able to use the bandages less. But started using girdles to hold inside pieces from becoming outsidee pieces.

So right the current dr repairing things the right about painful way.
Im honestly very impressed with the new dr. I still have a massive parh ahead me as dar as healing goes. But this dr. Has given me a much better chance to move back towards a more normal life.

btw take it easy on reading this I will go back and proof read it later. Being on morphine, zoloft and atavan isnt exactly the way to write a brief moment of my life.

Thanks

Rich,

P.S this is just me venting some. Many people who some about this but not all.

Now onto the cobalt. Im not wanting a screamer but a car built back roading quck highway blasts and maybe a road trip or too.

So heres the parts that I want to get me there with

powell harness bar
powell swaybar endlinks
powell unchassis bars
completrlyworked over by steigmeier
Complete m62 setup
2.6 pulley
zzp overdrive idler pulley
Dual pass
80lb injector (why not for the price difference)
option b
zzp s3 heat exhanger
Devil own meth
ZZP longtube catted header
ss/tc grills

I will be collecting some of this slow some of it quickly. my goal is for around 260who so I think im in the right balllparp.

That's unfortunate about the whole doctor slicing you open. I hope things get better for you =)

Glad to hear the story hasa semi happy ending, byt the way ever had one of those? Me neither, dang laws. Anyways, good luck. I woke this morning worrying about money and what I am going to do before it runs out. I recently left my job (good paying job in my field) as I did not agree with the immoral and illegal practices as well as how I was treated. After readign your story, I feel more connected to the world than alone, we all have problems and they can seem horrible at times but life goes on and we get through it. I hope this is the case for you as well.

By the way, your typing on morphine is better than a lot of members stone cold sobre typing, mine included.

I wish you a full recovery cordia. And the mods you have planned for your cobalt sound great. You should for sure be in your target hp range with that setup.

Thanks guys im laid up in the hopsital till sunday night. 10 different kinds of sore but I know its for the right thing.

As ive been sitting here ive been debating between picking up an LAP shortblack and seeing about building it up Though it is tempting to see how much timing boost and a meth an 08 2.4 can take! lol

Well I know someone locally running 498 WHP with a HAHN Built TC so, I imagine if you can squeeze that many ponies out of a 2.0, I'm sure you could top 550ish with the right tune.

Honestly Im wanting 260whp which should be doable on this setup as long as I keep my attention on cooling. Im also keeping my eyes on a local 06 2.4 thats on a 2.7 as well.
Theres nothing unique or different about this install. I just want to be reliable when its being backroaded or just being driven hard.

People have pulled over 1100whp out of a 2.0. .4l won't really make as much of diff as the actual set-up. Unless your talking about stock internals, if so 550whp won't happen.
