*UPDATED*You CAN tune/program your 2.4 with VVT NOW

Just got off the phone with Chris at Vector Motorsports
they can tune the 2.4 but will not mess with the 2.0 Supercharged
He ask you Call or Email them for details

Westers Garage also states they can work with the 2.4 with VVT but have had no luck with the 2.0 S/C

Chris's Info:
chris@whiteautoandmedia.com he will give you a number to call

Wester's Garage info:
nwester@eidnet.org

EDIT:
Wester's Garage has updated their pricelist to include several new GM's INCLUDING the 2.4VVT, they are not fooling with the 2.2L and said the 2.0 will come when tuning is possible(not sure what this means)

www.ecmprogrammer.com
Look under the Price List
not a bad price, tuning can be based on what you have done to your car, and by mail order but there is no core exchange option... Looks like ECM from GM Parts Direct is nearly 600$ if you wanted to buy one just to send them.

Wester's does but they only offer it through Hahn

Chris can tune the 2.2, just email him for a number and he can go over options for you

Chris is a great guy he helped the TrailblazerSS guys knock seventenths of a second off their times with his tune for the LS2, Users have reported going from a 13.9 stock to 13.2/13.3 after the tune

Ok updates
Chris is willing to do Dyno tune(if you are near him for a complete overhaul tune(usually 5 pulls, 8hr day) for 550$
He is willing to do Mail order tunes(you deal with him one on one about what you want etc...) price varies but you will be without your ECM/TCM for a few days
IF he sees enough interest in the 2.4/2.2 platforms he will look into buying some cores so he can setup a core exchange program

Westers ONLY does the 2.4L and it will be mail order tunes only no dyno options etc...

To anyone wondering these are the ONLY two companies to hack the P-12 unit(first hacked in the Trailblazer 4.2 Inline 6

interesting. All the thought of doing without my car for several days is not. I'd like to hear about some gains though.

I know of another company who has done this. I will be getting mine tuned this spring or summer, I'll let you know the results.

I am awaiting full details on this also, soon as I hear back I will post results

Mike SS please do post what you find out/do in the spring, as it seems the choices for crackers of the P-12 are few and far between, we can use as many choices as possible.

Will do, its a friends company and he wants to see if there is potential in tuning these engines, and how easily it can be done.

He has mastered the 3800, 3400, and starting the hemi

I don't blame any of you waiting for an exchange, I am trying to get them to do it but so far no luck. And I don't wanna buy a spare ECM just to send to them for a program
