ZZP Turbo on a 2.4?!? help :)

Hey guys

I drive a 2.4 SS but REALLY want to turbo her.. I need your help though, my car is my daily driver.. do you think a stage 3 will be too much stress on her? Should I just get a stage 2 and be happy with it?

if u wanna save money do what i did i got the stage 2 with 60lb injectors instead of the 42's and i just turned the boost up to 10psi and i shipped it as a 2.2 kit so i didnt pay for the pcm core charge it worked out good map sensor didnt fit front bumper kinda fits shitty just remeber if ur gonna do it urself ur gonna have to drop the pan and have the supplied bung welded on the pan for the oil return

This is what I tell everybody when they ask this, if ur fine with your motor blowing up and would have the money to fix it then go for it, but if not just remember, its not like your putting a k&n filter on your car, the probability that something will go bad is a lot higher, and engine parts for our 2.4s arnt cheap

its an auto lol i really want the stage 3 but i def will not have the money to fix it once i drop the 3 grand into the turbo lol

for me im thinking stg 1 some ppl tell me stg 2,
and now that zzp have both
im debating between sc or tc like steph06ss says is a daily driver.

i wish this wasnt my daily driver.. im really torn !! my boyfriend says the stage one is probably my best bet but its not as fast as i want it to be!!

do you guys think the stage 2 will still be realiable??

also... if i get the turbo do i need to upgrade anything in the tranny???

Auto tranny should be fine for that kind of power. An auxilliary transmission cooler wouldn't hurt, though, if you plan on pushing it at all (I'm installing one before the summer on my auto).

illini you are turbo right?
when accelerating do you get alot of lag or do you feel the lag?
thats my main concern with the turbo, i dont know how much lag i will get if will affect me, like when i hit the gas the most is in acceleration or when i want to pass a car,
thats why i have in mind sc kit too, because like ppl says the power is there. but dont know if in turbo how it will be.

No dyno yet (plan to dyno it at the CED meet in June), but I push 12 psi on a 3" pulley.

K&N Typhoon CAI, LS4 TB, 3" pulley, 60 lbs injectors, ZZP midlength header/catless DP, GMPP Catback with a 2.5" Magnaflow muffler/custom axleback to quiet it down.
