ZZP turbo install?

I'm planning on buying the zzp turbo kit. I'm going to have it shipped. I am trying to find a shop that will be able to install and tune my kit. I live in Fort Dix, NJ. Anyone know of a reliable shop somewhere near central NJ? I am willing to travel up to 300 miles (military restricts me to that).

Thanks for any help,
Travis

The only shop that I can think of off the top of my head is Tune Time Performance in Toms River,NJ. They do tuning there but I also believe they do installs as well.

I pretty sure thats well over 300 miles I'm about a half hour from Ft. Dix. There used to be a speed shop not to far from me but he doesn't do installs anymore.

tune time is in NJ however i've heard not so great things about their 4 cyl work.. they're great on bigger engines though

vince has tuned turboed 2.4's before and this shop has done turbo swaps on ecotecs zzp's setup doesn't look to hard to install either

I went to tune time performance for a dyno tune. They did a great job; however I would prefer a shop that has a lot of experience with the ecotec.

Who is vince?

IIRC he is the same guy that does tuning for our car using Trifecta. He is a great guy from what I hear and seems to know his ecotecs really well.

As far as I can tell, there are no trifecta shops other than in WA.

My impression of the turbo kit was that it came with a tune already. A) you can send in the PCM and have them set the tune, or B) they send you a temp till you send yours in and they program yours and send it back. Is this incorrect what i am thinking. Also if they do send a baseline tune can you get a retune anywhere else or is it locked by them. Right? Last you could drive there and they will dyno tune your car. If i am incorrect with any of this info let me know.

Yes ZZP send a base tune just so you can get the car up and running. However they recommend that you re-tuned. If you live near by you can just stop in and have them do the install and tuning.

idk i would bet they would do it and it would be epic. but he should call them and just talk to them about it if they have any doubt there would be a problem they wont do it. awesome people, there # is 610-298-2800. there very good with all forced induction. they have worked on so many different motors, i'm honeslty amazed with how many different cars they have worked on when i was there to have my exhaust put on my cobalt. (it was winter and no room in the garage) there was 4 mustangs, a supra, a talon, viper, srt 8 jeep, and a couple others that i dont remember i have no doubt in my mind the could do this.
