wow how cool "a turbocharged, VVT, 1.4L ECOtec that puts out 138hp and 148lb.-ft of torque"

So a stock 2.2 na pushes more HP

i wonder what turbo they're using.. and if its the same head pattern as the LNF... i noticed it's a rear foward facing engine as well.. that makes things super easy for working on the turbo

I would be surprised if it WASNT DI.

All of fords new ecoboost engines are DI, yet idk if they officially announced the 1.4l turbo, but the 1.6, 2.0, 3.5 have all been official.

I cant wait! fiesta rs and aveo ss? 1.4l turbo's?? be a fun ass DD to scoot around town in

Actually the Aveo RS concept (which is rumored to be released) has this engine. Unofficial 0-60 times were said to be under 6 seconds.

Hmm it almost looks as if the turbo is directly part of the exhaust manifold.

Only thing i like is that its a front facing turbo engine....and I can't see the Aveo RS running a sub-6, 0-60. I just can't!
