Cruze in British touring car!!
As the title says, was watching this today on speed and Chevy has wut looks like a European spec Cruze in the touring car series. The front doesnt look like our cars, more aggressive styling and wut not for a race car, but the back looks just like our production cars.
The race im watchin is from Knockhill, in Scottland. Ill post up the results on how it does. Ok so i caught it halfway throught the program, but i saw 2 races. The first race it finished in 3rd, behind 2 hondas. The second race it finished first, and im not 100% sure but i thought the driver was at the top of the points standings too.

The WTCC cruze you see there shares nearly nothing in common with our cruze. it has a one of a kind NA engine and all modified suspension/parts
Still cool to see it and rep the name though, it's done amazing in the race's its been in

yeah the 2011 version looks almost the same the color pattern is different but still nice. Not sure if they are using the same engine but the 2010 car used a 2.0L engine that had an output of 285bhp.
Edit: This year they are using a new 1.6L turbocharged engine.

(snore) anyways my favorite racing is BTCC and WRC... Also CRC (canadian rally challenge) which i competed in 3 races in with my sunfire b4 i sold it. i did quite well in the races i whent in placed in the top 5 each time within my class obviously.

Actually, the most fun racing I've ever seen was before last years Daytona NASCAR race in July. We made sure to be at the track early enough to see it. I forget what it was called, but it used real cars, and they were similar to those WTTC cars. There were RX8's, GTO's, G6 coupes, etc all racing on the track. It was incredible. Not time attack, (at least I don't think), and unfortunately I didn't get to see any Cobalts. But that was great fun.. Watching them roll through the Daytona road course.. All the eclectic noises between V8's, rotarys, V6's, 4's.. **** was crazy.. It was like I was watching real life Forza / GT5.. lol
