Cruze Z-Spec == SS???

They were showing this off at SEMA and minus a drivetrain upgrade, it reads like the treatment done to the Cobalt SS...

So it looks like it's just a mild performance upgrade to the 1.4L turbo:

Chevrolet Cruze Z-Spec Concept

Not quite on par with the Cobalt SS.

I'd rock the Cruze Z-Spec. My gf's neon is so much easier to tote people/pets/things around in than my car. I still don't care for the Neon but quiet/roomy > my car lmao

If the Cruze Z-spec hits the market dressed like it was at SEMA it may just be my next vehicle.

Those rims are gorgeous. Wish I had them on my SS. Are those Brembo calipers the same 4 piston ones on our SS/TCs?

yea im not sure.. they are definitly brembo's but they dont say which ones.. no numbers at all have come out. all i know is that its a 1.4 turbo with a borla exhaust (im assuming catback), k and n cold air intake, bbs 19"wheels, recaro seats, pedders suspension, and the normal dress up (body kit, special paint ect)... if only there was a coupe

I like it for what it is. This car is meant for a diff market then the coblat SS etc.. I forget the name of it but there is a market (I think the honda fit is in the market I'm thinking of) Might be termed micro tuners but I could be wrong. This wouldn't be a bad commuter at all. Has fun sporty elements while retaining comfort and efficiency. I'd buy one

How does it perform though compared to the Cobalt SS/TC? Other than that, it looks nice. Not sure about the front of the vehicle, but everything else

After reading more on it, I just don't see it being more than 200 hp at 1.4L

Am I wrong, can this be more?

Don't get me wrong I love the look, it makes me sad that they won't LNF it you know

Did anyone notice that this car has "LT" on the back?
