If you ever use your trunk then no you wouldn't.
I was hell bent on getting one a couple weeks ago, test drove a brand spankin' new GSR with the SSS package for a good discounted price...absolutely loved the car. Drove like it was on rails and those recaros were to die for. We got back to the dealership and I started inspecting the car thoroughly and going through the "first mods" thoughts, back seat was kind of small, but livable and people could ride in it. Then I opened the trunk...That was the end of my desire. I golf, I bowl, I like to occasionally carry things larger than a shoe box in my trunk. If ANYONE seriously considers an Evo X...you 100% must pop the trunk before signing any papers...that thing was an embarrassment to all trunks. It's about 1 and a half feet deep because of the relocated battery and washer fluid reservoir and about 3 and a half feet wide with the SSS package's subwoofer...probably just shy of 4 feet wide without that package.

If I ever want to put something big in my car I have to fold down the rear seats and put it in the trunk through the passenger side door then put the seats back up. Major fail on GM's part. They really should have made this a fastback hatch, this is the perfect car for it.
Like this, except not a scion

Not 100% sure yet...definitely something RWD this spring. More than likely I'll wind up with a new Mustang GT, but I kind of want a 2.0t Gen coupe because they are sooooo easy to modify and can be had for super cheap.

I mean I guess I can understand the space constraints under the hood...but seriously...how could they release a car that is famed for it's combination practicality and performance...and then leave one of those features out? There had to be somewhere more creative and less intrusive that they could have stuck those things than inside of the trunk. Damn you Mitsubishi...Damn you to Hell...

Even if they kept the engine and awd system and had just fitted it with a manual transmission I would probably own one right now. I actually test drove a blue Sportback Ralliart immediately after driving the Evo. It was very nice and had substantially more trunk space...but that twin clutch stuff was gay. It shifted super fast...but that was its only upside...I got bored with it after a 10 minute test drive.
