It's not based on our cobalt platform, GM has another car that they sell in brazil that they call a cobalt.

Wow, chevy, can you make it any uglier? i swear the only good looking chevy cars/trucks since 2000 have been the cobalt, camaro and vette... maybe the silverado and trailblazer. everything else is pretty much... uuuugly

 

ya the Cobalts are a nice looking car

While ugly, it's cheap and can handle 7 passengers. NICE

really though..i like the new interior look. simple. but modern. outsides...the only cars that they have that i like are the new sonic in hatchback, the camaro, aaaannnddd....thats it

Chevy needs to make somethingggg to compete with the focus ST and the SRT4 dart. they already made the Cobalt SS/TC but they stopped making it 2 years ago These new performance cars come out and GM is left with nothing to compete with. Only car that is made for performance that chevy makes is the camaro and corvette! the car industrys these days are all about going green. smaller engines and turbos (cruze and sonic) for ideal and better gas milage

 

^^^++agreed the tc should hav stayed for atleast 4-5 years least then a better aftermarket could be available

The green people do a better job of forcing their opinions on the general public. Also more people want a transportation appliance than a performance car. Companies build what people buy and they can hopefully make money on.
