God, some real idiots posting about the article on that page though... they guy who states he doesn't care if he beats someone by 10 cars if they pull him by 4 off the line. I don't think people realize how long it doesn't take to get about 3500 or 4000rpms off the line. You're out of 1st gear before you even realized you were in it...right into the fat torque in 2nd... I'd like to get these guys in the car and play the fun game my dad used to play in his Nova SS 396 lol. "If you can reach that $20 bill on the floor, it's yours *as he stomps the throttle*" There was no way you were moving forward in that seat.

My moms Pontiac Montana (minivan) can do that, well into the 2nd row of seats. so that's not saying much.

my dad used to play that game too.... but i had to wear my 5 pt seatbelt........ and he had a 351 cobra jet engine built/na in his 65' mustang fastback....never got that damn 5 (guess my dad was cheap) lol

Man it makes me wish I waited another 6 months for the SS/TC to come out lol. But I needed a new car real bad so I got what I could afford new at the time.
