I am really digging on the Verano and am wondering if this thing will be able to accept a GMS1 level of output via tune. I really don't want to sacrifice much in the way of speed when it comes time to upgrade. Any info on the actual engine yet?

best part of the whole thing when thay said this hahaha

There is no GS badging, or T-Type, or any other Buick boy-racer nomenclature. Also absent are great yawning grille openings to gobble up engine-intake and brake-cooling air. The urge to fit dubs with rubber-band-sidewall tires has also been resisted

It's a shame I know dick about gearing but that the Verano has a sixth gear it gives me hope that I can see enhanced or at least equal fuel economy to the ss/tc. Commuting with the engine at 2300-2400 rpms has, since the beginning, made me wonder what kind of mileage would be attainable with just one more gear. I am guessing this is going to be an LHU engine code. Any one know of the tuning options first hand?

Nice the 6 speed stick has a 3.55 final drive. not bad for cruising, but a 4.05 swap would wake it right up i bet.
