Run richer in the bottom end and lean it out a little up top. My car started at 3000 rpm ran a 11.1 afr and slowly leaned up to 11.8 at 6400 rpm and stayed until 7000. Had insane low end and even more insane top end.

I don't know honestly, but I just know the in the low rpm area, running richer creates more torque, and leaner up top creates more power.

When I put my 3" exhaust on all I had was a cai and I didn't really feel any low end loss but the power difference up top was definately noticeable. If i'm running my car hard i'm going to be running mostly higher rpms where the 3" helps and Low end all I do is spin so any loss in tq wouldn't be that bad.

Water/meth is over rated. Dual pass, cobra he, and good blower porting will do just as good as water meth. Starting at 85 degrees, at the end of a 1/4 mile run, my IAT2 would be ~125. On a 150 mph run it would hit 160ish. No meth, so no tank to refill

Not really, thats not going to raise your octane rating to allow you to run extra timing. I would rather do water meth then race gas

Maybe its just me, I've never liked relying on something to work in order for my car run with exploding. I won't need water meth though, once I get my car back together and get the trunk mounted 2 gallon resevoir and switch the system over to distilled water. With my head/cams setup I should easily be over 300 whp with a 2.9" pulley. Which with the amount of boost/heat the 2.9" will create, running race gas wouldn't help anything because there would be no reason to add more timing, after 25.5 degrees (with my car at least) it starts loosing power.

Also, would adding a cutout mess with my tune alot when I use it since the car is stuned on a 2.5 inch exhaust.?
The cut-out would help you gain power. With a TC car, the exhaust size doesn't have as much of an effect on the car compared to the manifold, the manifold makes a bigger difference with the turbo.

cam. you blew your **** up. i know for a fact that meth injection lowers the combustion chamber temperatures by 250 degree's at a minimum. which is why im running the afr that i am, and getting away with it on a daily basis with zero hiccups.

iat's are all fine and dandy, but what was the egt temps? i know what mine are, and i know what they are at 140 mph. i more or less use it as an aid to everything else i have. you can do what you want too with your car. im glad to see you finally getting **** done with it.

you have your views, i have mine. it's obvious they are different, it's cool. please for the love of god get an egt in there to watch things.

anything over 25 degree's you will start to lose power. been there, done that, have that dyno sheet.

Someone needs to dyno a stock and 3" exhaust back to back.

that wont help

its obvious 3 inch will be better than stock.
what we need is a 2.5 inch, and a 3 inch, back to back.

I think a 2.5" suits Cobalts (all of them) the best. Even the 2.2 can benefit from a 2.5" IMO. 2.25" exhausts seems pointless to me, as thats the stock size. So all your paying for on an aftermarket 2.25" exhaust is smoother piping and less bends. A 3" seems like overkill to me unless your making 300+whp.

The muffler on the stock ss/sc is what holds it back the gmpp catback has dyno'd 12 whp more over stock same day. A 2.5 catback is more than enough to support 95% of people on here, remember rob archer was running a corsa catback, no header or dp, and he was running 12's. So unless your more serious the that it is good for you
