Yeah it might take a few tries to get him. Kit is in 3 choices: just brackets, brackets and lines, or whole thing

It uses lsj calipers and rotors. If staying for lug, rotors need to be redrilled. I'm switching to 5 lug because my floating rotors can't be redrilled, and I'm eventually switching to lnf knuckles and axels.

Thanks man. I have bearings now, got new rear calipers. Rear conversion on its way, and front rotors being rebuilt.

Swap???

First...great job...looks great
Second...and please excuse this newb; but, wouldnt it have been cheaper just to do an LNF swap, with an upgrade??
(just curious since I also have an 2.2 with an LNF sitting in my garage(thinking about doing a swap))

Last edited by LAZ THE HUN; May 14, 2012 at 11:44 AM. Reason: mistook LSJ for LNF--now the post makes sense

For the motor, King bearings, clevite bearings$200(you can use gm for cheap), carillo rods $1000 (can use eagle for $300), wiseco pistons $350, rings 50. I also did all new pumps, belts, evrything (not necessary). I also built my head, full 5 angle race port, supertech #78 spings with Ti goodies 350, custom seats 50, Supetech valves 300. It depends on how far you wanna go. My crank is also WPC treated, the 2.2 head really is restictive, reccomend port job for sure.

Honestly the tranny and axels can take a beating. Only reason I upgraded axels was cause my boots were fckt. Adding a lsd insert helped but that and mounts only tranny upgrade I have, besides clutch obviously.

I confused the LSJ with the LNF (again)
I originally meant an LNF swap
I have an LNF sitting in my garage that Im thinking about swapping the 2.2 for...(but, yeah what everyone has said, just a **** load of work)...I think it would be easier to build the 2.2 but in the end the swap would be cheaper...
But, like you said you did it your way, so its unique and BADASS (no price tag for that)
