Exhaust question

I just recently installed a Tsudo exhaust on my 06 SS/SC. It sounds better than the DC muffler that was on it but I feel like it didn't really change in tone. Plus it's loud, just a little quieter than the DC. Can anyone listen and watch this video and tell me what you think?

How do you know it sounds different?

Cause of YouTube videos? You know they're usually recorded with cell phones or Go-Pros and have the worst mics ever.

Well yes I have listened to YouTube but I also have a buddy who has practically the same car and his Tsudo sounds great. His is an 06 SS/SC with 157k miles. GMS2. And an Injen intake. Mine is the same car with just over 100k miles and no intake.

Yes both do have cats. I helped him install the one on his SS.

No I took that shitty thing out. All it did was rattle and made it sound bad.

Is it a catted dp? Because I asked him and I guess he had one installed not too long after we put the exhaust on. I heard it once without the dp and then just the other night with it in. I'll have to ask him if it's catted or not. So a 2.5 in dp should make a significant difference? I mean I'm eventually getting the intake, header, dp, and a tune in the near future

Sounds about as normal as a Tsudo exhaust would sound. If you do get a downpipe get a 3 inch.

So would a 3 dp make it sound a little better? I mean probably ZZP mid length header and a 3 dp was what I was thinking about doing.

I posted it here because I seen 2 or 3 other threads about exhaust so I figured this is where it should go. I probably should've and could've posted in LSJ Performance but I didn't. Obviously. I apologize for not opening this thread in the correct place.

Header/DP combo will change the sound probably make it less farty. Specifically get a catted "3 downpipe with a "2.5 exit for max performance gains which aren't much of a difference but every little bit helps. DO NOT GO CATLESS YOU WILL REGRET IT.
