Has anyone ran a 3inch exhaust with flowmaster? I need a 3 inch exhaust system and dont have a muffler to run..I'm looking to have a shop custom make the piping and i need something to finish it off...advice needed

 

what style muffler you planning to use?

 

get a glasspack muffler...

 

i was thinking a 40 series..

 

never go glass pack on a 4 banger or anything except something like a old ratrod or classic car or truck.. they make 4 bangers sound all ricey and pop alot.. i'd say go 40 series flowmaster to me thats always been a great sounding muffler on any kind of car or truck with any motor..

 

I have a flowmaster muffler on my car. I think the car sounds good. There is no rasp and it has a pretty decent rumble to it at idle. But i dont have a 3" exhaust so i prolly wasnt much help.

I had a 3 inch exhaust, it was too loud for me, the drone just wears on your nerves.

 

yea im actually doing a 2.5 with hooker exhaust...for dd..and a dp cutout for the strip
