We have discussed porting of the Cobalt head. If anyone is interested in the porting service, we are more than happy to work with that individual. They have not had the opporyunity to flow-bench test a stock Cobalt head, nor have they had the chance to port one. That "one" individual will get a great deal on the price and a great port job. The stock head will be flow bench tested before any work is started and definitely after the porting. We are still working out the details on prices for various "stages". If you are interested in the head porting service, give us a call: (425)251-0329.
This deal is available on a first come first serve basis.

Thanks everyone.

We have shipping set up where it would not be to much to ship a 4cyl head. Its about $50-$60 for shipping a bare head.

Ok, this is a thread about head porting. Considering this is a Cobalt forum, it is assumed you are talking about Ecotec head porting, however when asked about flow numbers, you post flow numbers of a Honda head. Why didn't you post this in a honda forum (unless you already have).

If you have not had the opportunity to read all of the information I presented above, please do so as your question was already answered.

As I described above, I had originally posted this thread to let the Cobalt community, to which Clear Image Automotive suports, know about a new service we now have available to us in-house. ASP is sharing our shop and we are working together on several projects. Also as described above, they have not had the opportunity to port a Cobalt head. Hence me posting pictures of the Honda head they were working on.

In short, they have not ported a Cobalt head so there are no flow bench numbers to post.
We are currently looking to work with someone in the Cobalt community to allow ASP the chance to port a Cobalt head. Once accomplished, I will certainly post the before and after numbers.

If you have anymore questions please feel free to call.

Thanks for your interest in our services.

Well, as a point of reference, my stock head flowed 267 cfm on the intake side, and 161 cfm on the exhaust side.

Intake @ 28" water
-Lift | CFM
.100"|90.06
.200"|174.87
.300"|234.15
.400"|260.95
.500"|267.60

Exhaust @ 28" water
-Lift | CFM
.100"|82.78
.200"|145.41
.300"|158.20
.400"|159.80
.500"|161.39

After porting my head, it flowed 296 cfm on the intake side, and 217 cfm exhaust.
