jbp. the jbodyperformance guys do that stuff. they do whole head jobs lol. ceramic coated valve faces tougher springs 7k 8k redline. racing cams adjustable cam gears. able to suport up to 500whp with the highest upgraded head job i think its like 1500 bucks you can get a really good upgrade for 800. i think they port and polish to if i read correctly and seen the right pictures.

it looks like they do very good work but for 800 bucks i thought that was resonable. and i might do that route next year. or turbo depending on what im doing theres so much potential with our cars.

well i think the jbody guys i think its like 859.43 or something for the mild head upgrade if you want the wild head upgrade i think its like 3k or something i dont know. but you aint gonna beat no 900$ head job and theres is pretty damn good. anywhere else your gonna pay atleast 1k for the mild. id go with there stage 2 that way your good for ceramic coated valve faces and i think thats 1k and good power and redline to boot.

ryan. or you can send them your engine and get the whole engine rebuild from mild to wild

yeah it is 1400$ thats about the average price your gonna find id say they do a better job then somwere else. and id go with that.

You can get a race head for around a grand. Don't pay a penny over that.

you can try a place in jersey called head games. dont know if they have a website, but they are well known for doing honda heads. The key thing is that the guy started off on gm's.

Who gives a rat's ass if he started on mopar heads even? If the guy hand ports them then that's the way to go You can't beat a hand ported head.

Too bad you guys dont' have something like the L92 heads. 500whp unported on a LS-2 with an aggressive cam $900 if you build them yourself.

I don't know where you could get this I got ferrea valves springs and titanium retainers and they cost that much nevermind the head itself.

total engine airflow and advanced induction are both good places but i dunno if they will be cheap for a lsj head. i was going to use one of those two for the SBF i am building. A good cnc port is nearly as good as a hand port. and if you find a place that has a program for the heads youre looking at its typically a little cheaper.

Out of interest, whats the View on the existence/performance of the LSJ uber head as listed for the 1Kbhp build in the book (part number Race—Prepped SAAB 2.0L Cylinder Head XGH614)

I'd love to get rid of the lost foam L61 head as its a liability with cracking on removal of spark plugs etc..

SMG Motorsports (don't worry its a supporting vendor) Has a connection with a motor builder. They are just finishing up a complete motor build with 8K redline and everything your looking for.

You can call Fred @ SMG autosports for info about it. IDK about the price but he will know all about it if you call him. 17745730279
