ls1 coils

In looking for better coils for my lsj and coming up with nothing. there seems to be a shortage of ignition parts of any kind. However im looking at the ls1 replacement coils msd makes:
MSD Ignition 8245 - MSD Multiple Spark Coils and Coil Kits - Overview - SummitRacing.com
with the ls1 sparkplug wires it should be possible to run these with the coil packs mounted on top of the firewall side of the valve cover. just curious if anyone has any input on any other way to boost the effectiveness of the ignition system in an lsj.
ill have to cut slots in the center cover for the spark plug wires to go down through if i keep the cover at all. only other thing ive seen is the kenne bell boost a spart system which raises the voltage at the coils. very popular with the ford guys but i havent seen it on an ecotec motor. any input would be great.

Yeah, how much power are you making? Or more like, what cylinder pressures are you seeing?

to be honest ive had no trouble to this point, but the 6 liter guys pushing 600 horse upgrade ignition systems religiously, we are making 300 on 2 liters without trouble, im trying to prevent an issue from occuring rather than resolving one that already exists.

doh. the 898 car had completely stock coils? nothing modified at all? thought they had switched to distributor and bumped up the ignition considerably.
