LSJ Mini Build ;)

I pulled the Head Off over the weekend. This is my first time diggin in into a motor and it was quite fun. The following items are going into my mini build.

1. ZZP Stage 2 blown cams.
2. Super Tech springs Kit
3. Port Head (Euthenesia)
4. Balance Shaft Delete Kit
5. ARP Head Bolts
6. Stock Head Gasket New

My current mods are :

1. M62 Ported - 2.7 pulley
2. Shorty Header to 2.5 cat back
3. Methanol Kit
4. intake
5. Injectors 60s
6. ZZP H/E
7. Dual Pass with option B

Im plannnng on revving all the way up to 7800 to 8k on a 3.0 pulley. my goal is to reach 320 330 whp. what do you guys think? My ultimate goal is to throw a bigger Supercharger. ill post a picture of my stock pistons.....tell me if this is normal.

you running neutral balance shafts or a balance shaft delete kit? If it's the delete kit I believe you will need to run an electric water pump.

If you are going to have the head machined, make sure the surface of the block is perfectly flat so that the headgasket seats correctly and doesnt leak, other than that looks like a fun build good luck man

how hard is the balance shaft delete to do with the motor in? i heard u had to drop it out of the car to get to that. i have cams, springs, and retainers waiting to go in but i am waiting to get it all done at once that way i'm not tearing the motor apart twice

It would be a good idea to do it all at once. That way you dont have to keep messing with the motor and tune. My plan is to dropped the motor just enough to have room to remove the balance shafts. Hopefully is not that much of a pain.....
