MP 1900 TVS Blower
Interesting to see real world application. Seeing how Hot Rod Magazine (July 2009, page 96) was able to generate 371.9 hp at 7,900 rpm and 291.6 lb ft of torque on the stand. Granted, this was accomplished with cams, 22.9 psi, 24 degrees of timing, and no parasitic components such as the alternator.
Race gas as well. But that was rated at the crank. Not whp. There was a breakdown of power loss and it netted high 200's to the wheels. Sad really seeing how the TVS 1320 is capable of over 300 to the wheels on pump gas, meth and a tune. Trow race gas, cams and some other goodies that was done with the magnasun and you have ~320 IMO.
I needz moar cooling mods.... Jr..... lol... if I didnt have work in the morning, this shiz would be re-tuned right now for some more powa!
Also, come to find out there is dyno shop local to Euthanasia and I. So I may have a figure up in a months time to show the power curve.
GMPP clutch n zzp stg1 axles will go on soon... should be more fun w/ a working clutch :/

A dyno chart to reveal some type of numbers and also to show the power curve would be very nice. I'm interested to see if the blower is like the 1320 unit where it supposedly "feels" dead compared to the M62 down low and has monster topend. I would imagine with huge amount of airflow you are seeing, it should come on very strong, linear still, but very strong.

11.5 AFR and 15* of timing. 40 roll he got a jump on me, but once my car revved past 5K I pulled on him. Threw 3rd and kept on going right by him. The thing pulls hard up top.
I just don't see this blower making anything worth keeping because it's just way too big.
Update...
The next tune for it will be finished shortly.
It's going to be a relatively mild meth tune(whats mild now adays
) . It will still make good power, but we have a stock bottom end to worry about here @ 22 psi.
The bypass plate on the dual pass endplate is going to get welded as we speak, so that will go on soon.
Also, a larger nozzle for the water/meth is going on to compensate for the added size of the blower. We have a 10gph and a 14gph on it's way...
---
To add, since Euthanasia has my 2.7 pulley and m62 supercharger. I'll be throwing my old race tune that Shaunmcdee developed on his car, and making the appropriate adjustments to his MAF so it all works smoothly.
Since we can't afford a dyno run just yet... A 40 roll against the "rape your face tune" is in order.
Until next time :P

So the other night I went out tuning w/ Euthanasia... set the fueling to a flat 12.0 across the board, set 18-16* of spark and it was all dandy.
Dialed in the maf, yadda yadda....
Tonight I started doing a few 3rd n 2nd gear pulls, and im goin wtf... why am I seeing 11.5-11.6...
I go ahead and do a little investigation in the tune itself. I some how reset the p.e. table to 1.262 a.k.a 11.6 while messing w/ a possible new fueling table im working on.
None the less... It's pulling damn hard @ 11.6 afr hahaha
Also I noticed this blower has a slight dead spot between 3000-3400 rpm. Once your above 3400 rpm trq comes on instantaneously.
----
I wonder if I'll pick up more trq by richening up the midrange to roughly 11.0 and bumping spark to 20-24* range.

Well like always
depending on the demand, possible kits can be made.
I'm developing multiple tunes for it as well. A non meth tune DD, mild meth tune, and an aggressive meth tune.
So who knows what may happen.

I guess since I've never owned or driven a TVS car (though I've ridden in one, area47's to be exact) then I can't try to give an educated opinion on something. Even if YOU post up a dyno of your M62 vs your TVS and it's clear that both blowers make IDENTICAL numbers down low on the setups you are running, and the TVS makes better top end.
I guess John just likes to pick on me since I sold 1 single pass manifold and it was his design. He's still upset with me over that nonsense. But the fact is, he told me he wasn't going to sell them to the public, and to date, he still has only offered them to a handful of people.
I made my own single pass, I just used the info he gave me.

As for the single pass deal, I think I know who you're talking about but we won't get into that. Whatever happened happened.
And yes, your statement with the TVS is just as valid regardless of if you were a passenger or driver. You still get a feel for what the car does/can do.
I'm sticking with my statement as I feel that this blower is simply too big for our application. it might give you more power than the M62 but I don't see it beating out the 1320. There have been people over 400 to the wheels with the TVS w/o spray.
I've learned to take anything on this site with a grain of salt anymore. Most of the members on here have got to be like 17 yrs old and think they know it all. I don't even really post any of my knowledge on here anymore. No sense because I am wasting my breath with these guys.

And 400whp has been proven. It'll happen again soon.
