PCV valve options?
PCV valve options?
What are you guys doing for PCV valves on the ecotec? I've been bringing up the boost on my turbo Atom build and around 18 lbs of boost and 350 WHP we are blowing to dipstick across the garage.
Its also clear that we're getting some oil pushing back into the cylinders after the run from the crankcase pressure buildup.
I have a catch can that is open to atmosphere and this may be the issue since it is not routed to a vacuum.
I'd rather not pull off the valve cover and start tapping holes. It would be nice to put it somewhere else like the oil filler cap.
Any ideas?

best thing to do would be to route your catch to the air intake side of the turbo, this will create some vacume in the crankcase. the pcv is part of the head/intake manifold and there is a known issue with the early design intake gasket that causes this problem. you can get the updated style gasket at www.crateenginedepot.com or a gm dealership.
