SO i just got the car tuned... amazing tune..

i was driving home from my girls house, and im on the freeway going 60mph... in 5th... i decide to get on it... and boost goes up all the way, then it happens... it sounds like a clutch slip...

i dont think it is though, the car only has 10k miles on it.. and i just got it tuned today....

i dont beat it at all.... i dont launch it... hardly race... what could it be?

 

I'll try to make some free time during the week, or drop by again on the weekend and get a fresh log on the car. Im 100% positive nothing was overlooked, It could just be the ecm acting wacky with a new tune. Ill hit you up and see if we can solve this issue. Seems this kind of issue has been floating around quite often lately.

 

was it just a niose or did the rpms go way up too ? did the car go faster or slow down? whats was this clutch slipping niose?

 

To my understanding, the slipping in question is a random reduction in boost. From what i understood on the phone, he would jump on it, and the boost would goto 22 psi, drop and hover over to 14 psi for a second and raise back up to normal.
This Happened a little over 2 hours i finished tuning him. While i was present with the car, car was acting perfectly fine, and running like a champ. I left the car and tune in excellent condition. Seems to be happening to him randomly. Not every time, just very sporatic.
