Hahn manifold

turbo gt3076 seems to be a popular choice

Manifold is just starting to be put together, here is the flange it is laser cut matched to my ported head on one side and recesed and matched to the header pipe on the other.

pic of the car

Gauges

Other stuff. Using a tial 44 wastegate and tial BOV, Profec bspec II for boost control, All aluminum charge pipes, 3 inch exhaust. have not got the intercooler yet we are working on getting it ordered. Going to stick with the 60's and meth until I do return system later in the year and lager injectors of some sort. and of course hptuners. and a car wash.

Looks good! I like the HTP glass counter there too. I think I saw your car at Royal Orleans a couple of years ago in St. Louis off Telegraph. If that was you, your the reason I got an SS/SC.

What made you choose the 3076 over a 3071 or 2871? What power goals do you have?

looks like it is going to be killer! can't wait to see some results when you are done. Please tell me that you are going to take it to the track. I know you'll have a lot of money tied up into the car, but don't be scared to get some 1/4 mile times.

The only reason to build things is to test them out IMO. I will be at Gateway International when it opens in a few months if the car is ready. I live 10 minutes from the track so I will be going tuesday nights until it breaks.

The research I have done says that a 3076 is about as good as it gets for 400 to 450 whp. 3071 would work also but a 3076 has just a little bit more headroom if I get greedy and I want a little bit more power. Same thing with a 2871 just don't want to have to get a new turbo in 6 months. I could be wrong a 3071 or 2871 might work just fine for me but I paid for the 3076 already so that is what I am going with.

Looking at the maps, all three work w/ our motor. It's all a matter of trade-off between response and peak power. I still think the 2871 is the best for our motor to just about 400, maybe higher w/ head/cam work. The 3076 will make more, but you're still going to need that valvetrain work to get that 450. Good luck and keep us updated!

eh we've gotten a 3071 car to 396whp on 21-22 psi, and that still wasn't with an all out tune on it. Spool is quite fast, and makes good power across the board... not laggy like my car lol.
Doing a gt3076 swap on an LNF car in about 2 weeks... so we shall see how those feel on the street
