Who ported the head? I'm more curious about where they took material out than how much they took out...

He is a local guy his name is Rob, I think. It has been a while since I had it done. I know he works at SCP a machine shop near me in STL.. He just gasket matched the intake and exhaust and a little work in the bowls three angle valve job also. I told him to be pretty conservative I was woried about going into a water jackets. He did a good job I have no water leaks after almost a year of running the engine. I only have a few pictures that are not very good. I should have gotten closer pictures of the ports.

Looks like those cams are the only things holding you back from making the power you want.

I'm interested to see how close you can get w/ the 3076 and massaged head...

get some cam gears and you'll make some power. If I can do 440whp on a stock head and cams... I don't see why he can't get a bit more out of it.

Nice looking build man. Can't wait to see how everything turns out and what kinda numbers you put down, especially with the 3076 on there.

*small update*

We are going to top mount the turbo. My fabricator, Matt at HTP, thinks the manifold and downpipe will be cleaner with a top mount. He is going to start on it and the charge pipes this or next week.

Here are some pics of the brake booster check valve fitting I found so i could run braided hose from intake manifold to the brake booster.

Pics of the coolant return line from the turbo. I am having an aluminum coolant tank made to replace the plastic one. I still have to clamp the braided hose once we get everything hooked up. Cant see it in the pics but I also have installed ARP stainless 8 x1.25 studs in the head for the intake manifold mounting

I was just about to order the rotated mounts from Ottp but it looks like they are changing them to a new design so I going to have to wait.

First negative thing I have ever heard about HTP. He does awesome work, and takes pride in it, which is hard to find. That alone brings him much business, which makes turnaround a little longer than one would hope, but its worth it in the end.

not worth it when i take 8 months to get it done and doubles the price when its all done.... first thing he ever did for me was done fast and what i was quoted is what i paid, after talking to a previous employee of his i think there are alot of people out there with bad taste in their mouth, and im not saying he does bad work but good luck getting anything done in a timely manor, jeffs car has been there for a good 8-10 months and i bet the most work done on it was done by jeff himself...

It is far from complete but here is what I have used for so far. All of this is Earls performance brand

The hose is -6
The fitting in the head is 10mm X 1.0 to -6 to replace the original banjo fitting
one -6an T
one 90 degree hose end
and 3 straight hose ends
All of this is available through several online parts stores. Summit, Jegs and others you can find part numbers there.

I need a few more hose ends to finish the install and get the supply line finished

Dual fuel rails and injectors?? Do you have special plans for that?? I just noticed that. Looks like it's going well. I think it's the perfect turbo as well.

I was going to run Hahns portfueler, but development seems to have stoped and I don't think it is realy necessary for the power I am looking for. I figured for the extra 100 bucks or so I might as well have the cabability to run the extra injectors in the future if I go crazy with a stronger built motor. I am going to go with simplicity for now and use 79 pound injectors For the 400 or so hp that I want.

Also I have read that the 05 pumps are weaker than the later years so I need to figure out what route to go on that front.

I should have new pics later in the week with some real progress
