TVS 1.37 w/ 2.7 question

i bought the TVS 1.372 SC and will be running a 2.7 pulley. I will be running about 25 lbs boost. I was wondering if running meth is a need for this, in other words will my engine run too hot with this amount of boost?

im no expert on blowers but i think you should DEFINATELY BE ON METH with the TVS on any pulley under 3"

i could be wrong.

you wont be at 25 pounds of boost...
to take avantage of the tvs some form of high octaine is required , either e-85 or meth injection. cooling mods are never a bad decision. if you want a have a complete ais meth kit for sale with a ottp throttle body spacer about 2 months old.

Run corn juice or use methanol on premium fossil fuel

we are saying you need some form of cooling. heat exchanger, dualpass , obtb , meth , e-85 whatever you want but it would be in your best interest to try to run as much cooling mods as possible along with e-85 or meth to get full results.

Depending on what kind of power your looking to make, you might want to get bigger injectors. On the 2.9" pulley i made 340whp without meth.

You won't make that much boost. Unless you are on a stock header. Which if you are, expect like 10 degrees of timing maybe even on meth or corn.

meth is rated at 105 octaine , is a power adder depending on your meth mix. the more meth you run the more power you can make if you run more water the cooler it will be yada yada

Yeah I would expect maybe 23ish, unless you are pegging her to 7500rpm or so. Minimally you need to run like 105 octane or higher, 7gph meth nozzle with pro controller and pump at 100psi, or E85, which requires a complete fuel system overhaul pretty much. A dual pass endplate and dual pass heat exchanger would help your cause too. Even though the Harrop is super efficient, it still makes heat and the less you have the better off you are.

Bear in mind that the higher the psi the pump is putting out at, the larger the nozzle effectively becomes. A 5gph nozzle at 100psi flows 5gph. At 200 it flows more like 7. A 5gph nozzle spraying at 250psi is going to bog your motor down severely as well as waste methanol.
