Water Meth Injection
Water Meth Injection
I'm probably going to be helping my buddy install his water injection kit soon. I just need some input from the experienced individuals on this forum.
Where/How are you guys mounting your nozzles/injectors? Any of you guys using the stock resovoir?
thanks.

i think cobalt addiction makes a s/c inlet spacer with a tap for the water meth kit
i just drilled and tapped my k&n intake itself. sprays before the blower. i also drilled a small hole in the windshield resivoir. the tank that snow sends with their kits is way to small for me.
so wait uy emptied out ur windshield washer fluid and used that for the snow meth injection? thats a good idea if thats wat u did
so Area47...
how do you feel towards meth injection...?
has it removed any of the teflon coating on the roots in the supercharger?
how much "better" is meth injection compared to dual end-plate and cobra h/e?
how good of gains in hp and tq did you see once you installed?
and final question... im thinking about getting the devils own progressive kit or should i just get the regular kit (boost activited switch)? i dont really know a whole lot about meth injection so take it easy...
thanks, Johnny B

i have not pulled the blower off to inspect anything yet. im lazy.
think of it as runnin race gas. all the benefits, zero of the cost per gallon.
my system is simple. it's a pump, line, nozzle, and a boost switch.
i prefer simplicity. less **** to go wrong.
relay, pump, hobbs switch{pressure switch}, nozzle, fittings and line. simple wiring here and there, and blamo, it works.
and looks somewhat stock, aside from the giant pump hanging out under the hood.
Can you run it without a tune? I know obviously its not optimal but I don't have time (or money) to get it tuned. Also, will it really remove the Teflon coating from the rotors of the supercharger?

With gen v blowers it won't remove any coating. That is what we have.
I am very surprised on the ammout of people that have no idea what Windshield washer fluid is and what Meth injection is.

The nozzles atomize the liquid. It's not like a super soaker.
You don't have to tune it if you just want to use it has a pre-caution/cooling device.
If you want to take full advantage of it, get it tuned.
Personally I have 1 nozzle spraying before the blower, and 1 nozzle after. More efficient to spray after, but I also want to cool the blower.

Old HP Boost technology being recycled. Steam expansion for more ponies!
