go to the junk yard and buy etiher a power steering containter or a window fluid container (if you want to hold more), mount it to the rear of the engine way and run your houses dirrectly from that. Its alot neater looking especially if your OCD about the way your cars looks like me and makes it simply access to work with

more harm them good... would you put a turbo on a car w/o tunning it? Its like doing this to your engine

I can answer some of your question. Mine comes on at about 6 psi, the pump is mounted under the hood on the passenger side next to the winshield washer tank, not sure about 3 and 4, and the blue washer fluid is what you want to spray.

Thanks for the input guys.

Looks like w/i is relatively new to these forums. I created the thread for input on "where and how" but the "why" questions are welcomed.

Did you get the basic boost switch kit?

1. Set it to come on low enough to start the pump early but late enough to prevent bogging.
2. The pump should be mounted lower than the water level/source. Closer to the tank is prefered.
3. Make sure you take precautions, preventing water from getting into your system while not at WOT.
4. No pressure setting on the pump, the basic kit has a hex port switch, that determines when the kit activates.
5. Color doesn't matter as much as content. Make sure you don't spray soap based washer fluid.

thanks again for the input.

if i remember correctly, washer fluid is 40% meth 59% water and 1% the blue colorant... boost juice is 50/50... spraying washer fluid is just about the same and has the same affect as boost juice. it is smart to do because your bottle is already mounted for you and all you have to do is tap into it. it also leaves you room if you decide to do the dual pass endplate with opton b.
