Well I have been thinking about a new car for a while now but I thought about just swapping engines I was just gonna do a lsj or LNF swap but my buddy pointed out an impala ss engine supercharged just seeing if anybody has any advice or opinions?

 

Ok give us a little more info like what kind of car you have, what kind of power are you wanting, what is the car gonna be used for, and what kind of mechanic background do you have that would assist in swapping an engine or whatever you intend to do.

 

I have a 2.2 auto cobalt and I just want something to have fun with I know some stuff but my buddy has a shop we will probably do it together I'm just wondering if that engine would fit

 

Dude, if I was you, I would say throw an LSJ in there, LNF is gonna be close to impossible to swap. But don't expect it to be cheap, or easy.

 

I thought this was like a winter project like winterizing a car.

 

He is winterizing it, duh!

He is gonna throw so much power at it that it won't even be streetable in the winter.
