Needless to say I spent the next few minutes pulling apart my A pillar and getting the brown wire off my gauge. Soo yea, if you want to have a wideband gauge and tune at the same time, you will need to split the wire or disconnect it temporarily...
yea thats what i thought...hah did you use the yellow wire any? and are the digital plugs used at all?

or use the xd-16...it plugs in via the headphone thingy and leaves the brown wire alone.

splicing it into two wires and using one to wire up the gauge for wideband and the other to use as the wire used for logging

ahhhhhhhhhhh. i dont think it will. lc1 instructions talk about all the grounds having to be together to avoid interference. they dont say anything about splicing an analog output. best bet is to call thier tech line tomorrow.

no jsut from where ever you ran your wires...mine goes up into the a pillar area so they tend to fall down sometimes...i might run the serial cables over behind the grounding pillar in the center console to hget them out of the way...

My wire sticks out close to the gas pedal...it has tape on the end. I really need to put something on the end to make it simple to plug into my hpt box
