Sounds like a good build. Would def check about the pistons tho, I'm sure they know what they are doing tho haha, prolly just a mistake. I went with Weiscos with my build, I think most guys building the motor do

Everything checked out with the pistons. He explained it a bit funny.. but as long as Tim's sure I'm confident all is well. We all know they wouldn't build a car that didn't run. I got an update and I guess they have some closures here in the next few days and its gonna slow my build down. You guys are all welcome to shoot questions and sub as he did get back to me and let me know pics and dyno vids will be coming my way in the next couple weeks . I hate patience!

Not saying it won't work. The 2.4 DI motors have flat top pistons in them. Me and Matt talked about it a couple months ago but as of then they hadn't messed with it at all. Still don't think it's a good idea but we will see.

Not a giant update but heres a picture of the lil guy all put together with the new turbo on

Oh yea, Also it appeared to me there were two dump tubes but its just a kinda grainy pic, the dump tube blends in with the turbo. Should be some more soon!

Never threw it on a dyno but similar builds were making around 400whp and 400 wtq.

Nice interior shot, seeing my fancy new 6sp shift knob. Would liked to have gotten the new gauges with the RPD in the pic but oh well :p

If you look close you see the car is running! SOOOOO close.

Looking good, clean, again.. so close.

I'm doing almost the same motor build and still debating on what turbo I want to go with. I guess I could just go with one that was capable of launching a car down a 1/4 mile in less than 11 seconds! Suggestions anyone?
Justin, cool that I post this here?

Yea it's all good Paul. My threads about done, dyno video should be next!

I would be interested to see some options, I know there are a few new turbos coming out that fit our cars.

saw your snippet at the bottom about suspension. My personal recommendation is that with all the work you've done to put all the best parts on your car, don't skimp out on coilovers. Get either stance/hsd, or KW v2. These are about the best options Cobalts have for suspension at the moment. If you really want the best handling, get a set of Powell Race Shop XYZ springs, and a Hardcore or XXX rear sway bar.

Looks like a fantastic build!

Thanks for the input TommyP, I'm gonna give the Pedders a go, if I don't feel they suit my needs I will adjust accordingly. Ashley and I daily all of our cars though, everything from the lotus to my million hp Evo that was sold recently . Not big into track numbers or things like that, just LOVE cars. Prolly pick up a zzp rear sway, it'll get done

pecorillif I would expect the car to make over 500 since the efr6758 made 550 on a simliar build. Not sure what it will final out to though, I did request around 500-550. I wouldn't mind if they pushed it a tad farthur, I would say its good for over 600 though on this setup.
