Finally finished.....

Re-painted bowtie, 2 years of sun whopped it's ass.

And before you ask yes I bought another AC module so if I sell the car I can swap it out so you can read it again, I only left the whole for the 3 small LEDs when you push the buttons.

And a teaser....I just clean the seats and conditioned them.

ENJOY!!!!!

Thanks Omar, lol at the "Fat Kid Friendly" I will admit they are much more comfortable than the Recaro's.....much much more, more than 30 mins in mine and I gotta get up. And I'm driving to DC tomorrow.

Bezels? On my doors? If so I painted those a while back ago, just need a sexy looking head unit so it won't stand out so much.

Well to start with I use the Mequires leather creme which helps a little, then I just get some ear swabs and Resolve and clean away. The Resolve really dries the leather so that's why I use ear swabs.

I was thinking about gloss black at first to go all black interior but I think the red came out good. I bought an extra A/C unit off someone on here for I think $25/shipped.

And thanks for the comments everyone.

Oh didn't notice that, you use it on your plastic black pieces if they get wax or sun baked. Kinda like the trim around the mirrors, yea wax is bad there, scrub this stuff in a little and it look good as new.

question at the risk of being newbish: what exactly is wet sanding? just sanding and pouring pater on while you're going at it?

Get a small bucket and use hot water with a little bit of soap. It preserves the sand paper and you have no dust and is less harsh on the paint.

Sand them down with some 600 grit then get some primer and paint, then your choice to clear or wet sand.

I did my door bezels with 600 grit, Krylon Fusion and some clear then wax and it looks good.
