07 bulbs

The rumor is that the new 07 SS/SC dont have the orange reflector thing and I am currently painting my headlights so I am wondering what the part # would be for these new orange bulbs since there wasnt anything before... Unless I am off my rocker and loosing my brain..

Just go to your local parts store and buy an amber bulb.. 3157 is the bulb number.

Edit; damn to slow.

I don't know what you are talking about otherwise, but my 07 sc has the orange reflector.

Just to clear things up.. Im talking about the orange piece that goes in front of the driving lights or w/e. The newer 07 models dont have it.. reffer to the pix above... the earlier models did... reffer to this pix...

^^How come I'm keeping mine instead of getting projectors, I think. Plus I don't like the 3 LED's on top of all the ones I've seen.

Also, I don't know if all model 'Balts are like this, but on the 07s the way they worked the reflector for the amber light makes it have a nice LED look.

I was kinda thinking that too. The bulb surrounds do kinda look like LED's. Sorta. And many of the eBay bezels are just gay.

Yeah, I remember right after I got mine I was sitting in front of Rite-Aid or something and looking at my car in the reflection thinking, "I don't remember this thing having LEDs..." Then I got out and looked. It's mainly at night that it looks like that - it's definitely different.

Yeah, I first noticed the last time I went to the dealership that I bought mine at. There was a brand new s/c sitting there. Black (like mine), with the high-polished wheels and everything, but without the amber circle. It look completely different! Much cleaner IMO.
