07 Corner Light

I ordered some H.I.D and i didnt know the 07 Cobalt use the daytime ruuning lights instead of the 05-06 using the parking light..

so anyone know how i can change it back like the 05-06 for the looks and also for saving life for my H.I.D..?

Thanks r0k0

You can't switch back to the old style of DRLs. Your best bet is to just pull the DRL fuse and shut them off permanently.

Warning though, it shuts off the auto capabilities so you will have to manually turn on the headlights everytime. I love the auto feature personally.

I HATE the 07's with the low-wattage high beams.... I think it makes it look ugly... kinda like a corolla That would be nice if there was a fix. Or just drive with your parking lights & fogs on all the time then...

An aftermarket HID kit doesnt use the high beam wire at all . So you dont have to do anything at all in a 2007 . Once you install your HID's , the DRL's will not work anyways because the voltage supply wire is not used in the kit

and FYI your HID kit will probably last longer then you owning the car, even if you ran them every minute that you drive...

but SilverSS is right anyways

Only on the american ones. the canadian cars force you to have the DRLs on, even if you flick the little switch thing to shut off the auto lights, they won't turn off.
