Yeah, it's a crappy deal for us. Even at night, if I turn my switch down to turn off the auto lights, nothing will turn off. The light sensor on the dash trumps all, unless you have the e-brake up. So if you don't want the DRLs on, just pull the fuse like I said above. I did this months ago and my car hasn't given me any error codes or junk like that and I lost nothing else by doing it so you're good to go.

Just turn em off when you drive. I have the DRL's still activated, and have HID's and I just use the headlight switch and turn em off

The fuse is in the engine bay, at least on my car it was. There's a diagram in there that tells you which fuse does what, just locate the one that says DRL and pull it out. You won't have anymore DRLs, but every other exterior light on the car will still function like it's supposed to.

As for the nickname, it's just that, a nickname. I don't know who you're referring to regarding me working for them.

Oh. Nah it isn't anything to do with the government. Blech. It's much simpler than that. Just one of the hull numbers from one of the Star Trek Ships I liked a lot way back when. Been using this for years on damn near everything I sign up for.

i thought they werent working but my ebrake was on.. now they flicker because they do into low power mode for the DRL.. and in the fuse pannel the only thing i see for DRL is the relay for all the lights.. DRL, Low Beam, High Beam, Fog Light, etc..

which one do i have to pull out.. and i need to know before 3h30 pm.. thats in 30 minutes lol.. before i go to work..

Thanks

My fuse panel had one labeled DRL. If I remember right, it was a 10, and red. Took me a while to find it on the diagram so look carefully. Mine was around the middle. I also had to pull one of the huge fuses out of the way so I had enough room to grab onto the tiny little fuse to pull it out.

It's why I bought another GM....I don't know how to manually turn on head lights! Mine have always had DRL.

I don't seem to be able to turn off the auto lights anymore on my car, since I changed the bulbs and lost the DRL's

well can't you just turn on the auto lights by holding it down a few secs?

then turn on your fogs?
