Where did you get it, how much did it run you, did you have the option of buying it pre-painted or did you have to get it painted yourself, did you have a dealer or bodyshop install it or did you do it yourself?.......etc etc.

Looking into getting a white SS/TC front lip....just trying to get some basic ideas of where to start and how much its gonna run me so I can begin saving.

Any help is appreciated

I am contemplating this too but I'm getting coilovers and I still want to be able to drive most places...

 

i got my front lip from dealer. and got my rear from a totalled cobalt . search the web real good and you might get lucky. i did withe rear lip. only paid 100 bucks with both grille inserts and clips

oh and by the way i painted it myself

aight ok. are they willing to actually take the lip off the bumpers they have and sell just that? i started to buy the whole bumper one time but didnt cuz it had some bad spots in it that i didnt feel like fixing.

No problem. Took me bout a month of calls and checkin in. But well worth it. Had some scratches on the bottom. Don't expect perfect parts LOL

the ss lip kit

i got red lol my whole lip kit is red and im looking to trade my ss spoiler for a red one if anyone wants to trade lmk thanks

 

i know that you can put the ss/sc lip kit on the LT rear bumper, can u do it on the front bumper too?

 

no u need to have the ss front bumper

 

for what reasons, why couldnt i just dremel out the slots like on the rear bumper?

 

bc i think the front bumper on a ls or lt is a lot diff than the ss ones and i doubt it would even fit u can do it its ur car but read up on it more i could be wrong

 

the lines at the bottom of the bumpers are similar thou. i see it possible to make the lip fit the base front bumper, how it will look is a different story.

The SS lip on an a base front bumper would be a complete joke.

 

i reallly dont see why it would be any different than the rk sport lip on there
