hey guys, i just got my replacment set of the CCFL halo projectors. (2nd gen). and my old set didnt have these lil black boxes wired to them. if u guys could let me kno what they are. here are some pics. thanks.

I have the second gens also but dont rember the black boxes being their... maybe they help prevent the eyebrow from burning out like mine have on both sides

 

Those lights are my favorite design, I hope they have fixed the issues with them because if they have, I'll be buying a set this spring

 

well my old ones that didnt have these boxes a halo in each headlight burnt out and i never even drove the car cuz its winter. i turned them on a few times and thats it.

 

my halos still work perfectly just the eyebrows on both sides burnt out within 2 days of the install... hope this set works better for ya!

these are brand new. the ones i bought last summer didnt have them
