long story short i had 35% (legal limit) and it wasnt dark enough so I went down to 15% and i now realize that cops dont care about tint where i live so i want to just go down to 5% and MAYBE 35% on the windshield..

my question is, i already have 15% carbon tint and the guy who has done it before wants 120 to take off the old tint and put on the 5%..i was wondering if i could buy a DIY tint online (50% or 35%) and put that on top of my 15% so it would be around 5%....

any help appericated

 

You can just rip the tint off yourself before taking the car in and save whatever the guy would charge you just for the removal.
