4dr vs 2 dr?
I wish I had a 4-door. Easier for multiple passengers to get in/out, shorter doors for when you park in a cramped parking space, cheaper insurance.......
I think the coupe looks a little bit nicer......but I think the 4-door is just overall better.

Agreed 100%. Couldn't be a better description.
2 Door for the looks, 4 for the convience.
I'm just not a big fan of the sedan styling wise... it almost looks like GM designers thought "Crap... we forgot to design this car with a 4 door option... well... screw it... just hack two rear doors in and call it a day."

misconception that 4 doors cost less on insurance actually... when i got my car last April i priced out both there was not even $10 a year difference between 2 and 4 doors check it out if that is a major concern :P but like everyone said it's all about what you want out of it.
Coupe looks better, sedan has way easier access to the rear seat. Bit more headroom in the back too.
I went coupe because it's just me most times, me and missus sometime. Had the car 6 months now, back seat has been used exactly once

2-door, it looks better and it gives me an excuse to not drive. I say "ok guys, I'll drive, who wants to sit in the back" and they say "nevermind I'll drive, your car is too small". It's a real gas saver
Am I the only one here that can answer this based off of experience? I own a 2006 coupe, and a 2007 sedan, both are Cobalt SS. The back seat is useless in both. You can't fit real adults back there regardless. It's only in the attempt where the sedan is better. It makes it easier for people to try and get in there. Never had an issue with the door lengths. You tend to sit further back in a coupe, so the opening is usually the same. It's only when the doors are already open and you go to close them that you have a longer reach in the coupe. As for performance and handling, the coupe is better. It weighs less (I have weight slips to back this claim), so you get better fuel economy out of the coupe, better braking, more agility, quicker acceleration, etc.
I'm really not a fan of the 4 door Cobalt's at all. I think GM made a horrible design for them, just chopped up the rear end to give more headroom and there you go, we have a 4 door version. It just doesn't look right to me.
